#76 Carlock Racing
My Dad, Bill Carlock, built CC Speedway in 1945, so I grew up around racing my entire life. He and my Mom, Jewell, were against me racing. They didn’t want me to get hurt. When I started building my 1st race car in 1987, they gave in and my Dad helped me saying, “If you are going to race then you are going to be safe”. After that, my Dad, Mom and my brother Jimmy were all behind me and helped me with my racing.
In my 31+ years of racing I have met more good people than I can ever remember, including my wife and girlfriend of the past 29 years, Donna.
Although I do not have many memorable accomplishments from racing, the best memories and friends in my life have come from racing.
Thanks to everyone that made it all possible! Thank You Jesus for keeping me safe in my racing!
